Teen Takeover
Teen Takeover is Saturday, October 18 at 11am
We're always working on our next great library event, and this time, we want it to be planned by teens, for teens!
Fill out this simple form and email it to us, or drop it off in-person. We'll review suggestions and pass them along to our Volunteen group for a vote. Together, library staff and Volunteens will make the winning submission into a real program! The selection process will take place quarterly, so there are plenty of chances to send in ideas or get involved in Volunteens and make it happen.
Applications are currently open for our January Teen Takeover.
This opportunity is for patrons in grades 6-12 free of charge.
Cardboard Creative
October 6, 4-6pm in STEAM Central
Cardboard is everywhere you go - why not make something out of it? Drop by STEAM Central to learn some basic tool safety and engineering tricks, then unleash your imagination. We can’t wait to see what our creative community can construct out of cardboard!
This event is in-person and for all ages (makers age 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult).
Five Nights At Freddy's Pizza Party
October 10, 2pm
Join us for a Five Nights At Freddy's Pizza Party, where we’ll trade secrets, keep an eye out for sneaking springlock suits, and maybe, just maybe... we'll manage to survive the night (or the afternoon, at least).
This event is in-person and for grades 6-12.
A Pokémon Halloween
October 18, 11am
Dare to join us for a monstrously good time during A Pokémon Halloween! Activities will include "Who’s that Pokémon?" (Spooky Edition), DIY Pokéballs, and a memorial for our beloved papercraft Snorlax (IYKYK).
This event was selected by Volunteens as part of our Teen Takeover program. If you want to suggest an event for our January Teen Takeover, fill out this simple form and email it to us, or drop it off in-person.
This event is in-person for grades 6-12, free of charge.
